need to track items using serial numbers in EalSuite. Can I upload serial numbers during data migration itself, or is there another way to do it?
You can’t directly import serial numbers during migration.
What you can do is set the item to be tracked by Serial Number while importing. That basically prepares it for later.
So after import, how do we actually add the serial numbers?
After migration, go to Items → Serial Number section.
You’ll see all the items that were marked for serial tracking.
From there, you can use the “Change Batch” option and manually enter the serial numbers for each unit.
Yeah, each item will be treated individually (quantity = 1 per serial), so you’ll have to enter them one by one based on your stock.
