How do I create and edit a Smart View in EalSuite?

I’ve seen the Smart View option in modules, but haven’t really used it.

How do you actually create a new view? And can we edit it later?

Yeah, it’s pretty useful once you start using it.

To create one, just go to any module (like Sales or Inventory), then click on View Settings on the top right. You’ll see an option called Create View.

Okay, what happens after that?

It’ll take you through a setup — nothing complicated.

You basically:

  • Give it a name

  • Choose columns you want

  • Add filters if needed

That’s it. Once you submit, your custom view is ready.

Nice. Can I modify it later if I mess something up?

Yeah, just open that view again → go to View Settings → Edit View

You can change columns, filters, all of it.
