Unable to map salesperson to customers during import

I’m migrating customer data for a B2C setup where each customer has a salesperson assigned.

But during import, I don’t see any field to map that. Any workaround?

Yeah, that’s expected. There’s no default “salesperson” field for customers.

So does that mean I can’t import that data?

You can — just need to create a custom field first.

Go to Settings → Custom Fields, create a new field under Customer (something like “Sales Person”).

Once that’s created, it’ll show up during import for mapping.

Exactly. After that, your CSV column can be mapped to that custom field.
